i just got back from seeing the greatest band ever. live. i am still in shock. ][=][][][\/][ totally kicks ass live. i love them more and more every time i listen to them or see them. i'm listening to my fave song of theres now... the sacrement... it is incredible... and to think they were playing it no more than 15 ft in front of me a little more than an hr ago... kelly and i got to HOB at 1 this afternoon. we couldn't even get in line till 4. so we hung around, met other HIM groupies. went to lunch at HOB to get VIP status (we got into the venue before everyone else, so worth going to eat there.) so we were of course in the front row. auf der maur and monster magnet opened. auf der maur did great. the singer is amazing. but monster magnet... the singer for them was fuckin creepy... he had a tendency to stare for long periods of time directly into my eyes... it happened to kelly too... and as he was doing this, he would be making obscene movements with his hips, grabbing his crotch etc. it was not cool. but, seeing Ville, Burton, Mige, Linde and Gas made it all worthwhile. i am more than just slightly obsessed. kelly and i went to Mandalay bay last night to try to see if they were hanging around the casino. we had no luck in finding them, but we should have talked to some of the people we had seen there, as they worked for the bands. *sighs* one of the guys we had seen was beautiful and smiled at us a lot... we should have talked to him. oh well, we know this for next time. i can't wait till they come back. absolutely incredible. but now i think i'm gonna clean my room a bit... i want to have a visitor this evening or tomorrow night... after rocky horror of course. laterz.
